Fairmont - Royal York Hotel - Custom Bronze Stair Nosings

Scope: To design, manufacture and install (16) custom bronze stair nosing trims.
Highlights: A Robust, but elegant solution was required to prevent premature carpet wear in this high traffic area. Each custom stair nosing trim was manufactured from solid bronze material, matching the existing handrail and treated with SML's non-directional orbital finish; allowing for easy site repair to the trims in the event of scratches in the future.
